Prison bus crash kills 2 guards, 8 inmates

ODESSA, Texas — A corrections officer and three inmates remained in critical condition and a fourth inmate was in serious condition after a Texas prison bus crash that killed two other guards and eight other inmates, KWTX reported.

Officials say the bus hit an icy patch Wednesday morning on an Interstate 20 overpass, slid down an embankment and collided with a passing freight train. The National Transportation Safety Board has sent a team to investigate the accident. For the full story, click here.
