Prison bus crash kills 2 guards, 8 inmates
Officials say the bus hit an icy patch Wednesday morning on an Interstate 20 overpass, slid down an embankment and collided with a passing freight train. The National Transportation Safety Board has sent a team to investigate the accident.
ODESSA, Texas — A corrections officer and three inmates remained in critical condition and a fourth inmate was in serious condition after a Texas prison bus crash that killed two other guards and eight other inmates, KWTX reported.
