On Friday, the National Association of Motorcoach Operators (NAMO) announced the hiring of Mary Presley as their first Executive Administrator.
“As our organization continues to grow we feel it is the right time to appoint someone who can manage the affairs of the association on a daily basis,” commented NAMO’s chairman, Gene Wright, owner of B&W Charters of Kalamazoo, Mich. “Mary’s diverse experience in the bus and motorcoach industry will help us get to the next level of serving our members.”
"I am delighted with the confidence the NAMO board of directors has placed in me," says Presley, "and I look forward to managing the affairs of NAMO and continuing its mission. While the national economy has certainly challenged the bus and motorcoach industry, we also have unique opportunities to strengthen our business models and emerge as solutions to our community transportation needs.”
Established in 2000, NAMO will hold its annual conference August 19-22, 2010 in Boston this year.
The National Association of Motorcoach Operators (NAMO) establishes and implements solutions to current transportation concerns and advocates fairness and protection for all motorcoach operators.
