Champaign-Urbana MTD installs U. of Illinois kiosks


Champaign-Urbana MTD's new kiosks, custom designed by MCS Office Technologies, use STOPwatch, MTD's real-time information system.


URBANA, Ill.  — The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD) has put five new information kiosks into operation on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, displaying scheduled bus arrivals, anticipated wait times, re-routes and emergency information, The News-Gazette reports. The transit district eventually will install 24 of the kiosks along MTD routes. For the full story, click here.
