First Transit wins Kennesaw St. contract

Starting in August 2011, First Transit will operate campus shuttle service for Kennesaw State University (KSU) in Kennesaw, Ga. The company will provide transportation service to the students, faculty and staff throughout the campus and off-campus parking locations.

First Transit will operate six new shuttle buses, transporting more than 15,000 passengers annually. Each bus will be equipped with TransLoc's Transit Visualization System, which allows passengers the ability to access real-time vehicle location information.

"We are pleased to be a part of the KSU family," said Al Lewis, GM, First Transit. "Our focus is to provide safe, cost-efficient and reliable transportation services to the university and students, and we look forward to a successful relationship with KSU."
