BARTA paratransit looks to ads for revenue

READING, Pa. — The Berks Area Reading Transportation Authority (BARTA) extended its advertising agreement with Direct Media Inc. and is now looking to add advertising to its paratransit buses to help generate more revenue, according to the Reading Eagle.

BARTA already sells ad space on the inside and outside of its fixed-route buses. Under the contract, Direct Media sells advertising space on the buses in exchange for 40 percent of the revenue. For the full story, click here.
