A-Z Bus Sales Inc. and Elkhart Coach announced the delivery of 19 Elkhart Coach Paratransit Vehicles to the City of Tucson, Ariz.
The buses feature a Ford E-350 Chassis with a 6.8 liter gasoline engine. They are equipped with a front lift, AVL, camera system and custom graphics. Order and delivery of the new vehicles took less than five months, using a CalACT-MBTA Vehicle Purchasing Cooperative RFP.
Elkhart Coach is a certified transit vehicle manufacturer employing ISO-9001-2000 quality standards, Ford Motor Co. QVM manufacturing processes, and is in compliance with all Federal Transit Administration requirements.
