JONESBORO, Ga. — In hopes of returning bus service to the area, Clayton County leaders and transit advocates are pushing for the small county to join the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, Creative Loafing reports.

The county’s bus service, C-Tran, would have been funded had the so-called T-SPLOST referendum been passed by voters in July. The agency ceased operations in 2010 after commissioners voted against funding the service. For the full story, click here.
