Fla.’s Palm Beach puts MV-1s in service

PALM BEACH, Fla. — About 60 MV-1 vehicles are hitting the streets as part of Palm Beach County's new contract with Metro Mobility Management Group to provide the door-to-door Palm Tran Connection service, SunSentinel reported.

Palm Tran Connection is mixing up its vehicle fleet to cut service costs. The agency will still use its eight- and 14-passenger vans most of the time, but for the first time, passengers will get rides in taxis, sedans, minivans and MV-1s. For the full story, click here.
