Consolidated transits could extend Clemson U. service

CLEMSON, S.C. — With transportation officials in Greenville and Clemson considering a major step toward a regional bus system, preliminary plans call for a new route between Clemson University’s main campus and its various satellite operations in Greenville with other possible stops, according to GreenvilleOnline.Com.

The idea surfaces at a time when both bus systems have been put into the same federal classification, meaning they will have to share federal funding for the first time. For the full story, click here.
