BOSTON — Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuters have downloaded the transit system’s new mobile ticketing app 6,000 times in the three days after it was launched, boston.com reported. Jonathan Davis, the agency’s acting GM, told boston.com he had received a lot of positive feedback from riders.

Currently, only single-ride and 10-ride passes are available on the app, but monthly passes may be offered on the app by January. For the full story, click here.
