TLPA names Driver of the Year
Gerald Ford, a driver with Select Ride Inc., accepted the award at the association's annual convention in Las Vegas last month. He was selected for his focus on safety and outstanding service to his paratransit passengers.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Gerald Ford, a paratransit driver with Select Ride Inc., was named 2012 Paratransit and Contracting Driver of the Year by the Taxicab, Limousine and Paratransit Association (TLPA). Ford was selected for his focus on safety and willingness to go above and beyond what is expected of him, the Ann Arbor Journal reports.
Ford has been a driver for Select Ride Inc. for five years and has an unblemished driving record. He accepted the award on Oct. 28 at TLPA's annual convention in Las Vegas. For the full story, click here.
