GO Transit adds system tracker

Toronto’s GO Transit is introducing GO Tracker, another customer communications tool released by the region's transit agency to keep passengers informed.

GO Tracker is a Web tool that provides real-time GO Train departure information right in the palm of the customer's hand. On their mobile device or computer, passengers can view their estimated train departure times and platform information on GO’s website.

GO is constantly striving to innovate and improve how they communicate with customers. Since promising to keep passengers in the know through their Passenger Charter in 2010, GO has introduced several customer communications tools, such as GO electronic signage, GO Mobile and "On the GO" alerts.

GO eSignage is now on display at all its stations, providing real-time service status information when and where passengers need it.

GO Transit is Metrolinx's regional public transit system linking Toronto with the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area. GO carries about 62 million passengers a year in an extensive network of train and bus services.
