HONOLULU — Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) officials told Pacific Business News that the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals scheduled a hearing on the appeal in the federal lawsuit against Honolulu’s elevated rail project for Aug. 15 at the appeals court in San Francisco.

Even though the plaintiffs are getting an expedited hearing, HART officials have told the paper that the delayed project is still on schedule to resume construction in September. It is waiting for approval of its archaeological surveys for the entire four-phase project. For the full story, click here.
