PITTSBURGH — At least three candidates are in the running to lead the Port Authority of Allegheny County, though county leaders say a decision likely is still a ways off, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

The finalists are Dick Ruddell, president and executive director of the Fort Worth Transportation Authority in Texas; Frank T. Martin, an executive with a transportation services company in Orlando, Fla.; and Charles Monheim, formerly with New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
