CHICAGO — The Chicago Tribune reported that Metra selected Donald Orseno as its interim executive director. Orseno, who once operated trains as an engineer, has more than 40 years of transportation experience, including nearly 30 at Metra.
He will fill the vacancy left when the board of directors ousted CEO Alex Clifford in June, sparking a controversy that prompted investigations and calls for the entire board to step down. For the full story, click here.
