Utah transit completes rail project early, $300M under budget
The FrontLines 2015 program has more than doubled the Utah Transit Authority’s system, opening four new rail lines and extending one existing line by 45 more miles.
SALT LAKE CITY — According to the Utah Transit Authority’s (UTA) blog, Urban Ticket, the transit system is more than two years ahead of schedule and $300 million under budget on its FrontLines 2015 program, which has more than doubled the UTA’s transit system. The project will have opened four new rail lines and extended one existing line by 45 more miles.
With the upcoming debut of the Draper TRAX Line, the Utah Transit Authority is less than a month away from completing the entire project. For the full story, click here.
