CINCINNATI — The Enquirer reported that Cincinnati has completed one mile of streetcar track construction.

John Deatrick, project leader, told the Enquirer that given the contentious political climate surrounding the project, the milestone is significant; the project was temporarily shut down for three weeks in December and at risk of being canceled. Following that, work was occasionally stalled because of extreme winter temperatures.

Deatrick also told the news outlet that workers still are on schedule for a September 2016 completion. For the full story, click here.
