LAFAYETTE, La. — University of Louisiana at Lafayette students passed a referendum to begin paying a $50 transportation fee per semester beginning in fall 2014, reported KATC3.

The new funds will be used to replace 11 of UL's oldest full-sized buses, construct at least a couple covered bus stops and possibly launch a new shopping shuttle service. For the full story, click here.
