PHILADELPHIA — The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority announced that each officer in its Transit Police Department will soon be equipped with a body camera, NBC 10 reported.

The transit authority will spend nearly $300,000 on the cameras for the more than 270 officers who are expected to have them by the end of year. Each officer will be responsible for activating the camera to record any incident or face “serious repercussions,” according to the report. For the full story, click here.
