Northwestern U.'s SafeRide never in danger

EVANSTON, Ill. — City officials say Northwestern University’s (NU) SafeRide program was never in danger of being shut down for violating city codes, refuting claims the university made last week as it defended its decision to stop offering rides between off-campus locations, reported The Daily Northwestern.

A senior NU official also said the university did not do enough to make sure students knew of the reduction in service, which occurred after spring break. For the full story, click here.
