SEATTLE —Two new Sound Transit rail stations are near completion and commuters will soon be able to go from downtown Seattle to the University of Washington in about eight minutes, KIRO 7 News reports.
Seattle's light rail currently runs through downtown Seattle to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The new stretch of rail lines will travel across Capitol Hill and to the University District, carrying passengers through subway tunnels. For the full story, click here.
