The service, known as Crimson Ride, provides transportation for the more than 37,000 students of the university and three million annual riders.

The service, known as Crimson Ride, provides transportation for the more than 37,000 students of the university and three million annual riders. In addition to the campus shuttle, First Transit and Crimson Ride support campus bus transportation for all University of Alabama home football games at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The university recently extended its nine-year partnership with First Transit to provide campus transportation.
First Transit will provide management, staffing and operations for the Crimson Ride bus transportation system, including 51 buses owned by the university.
