COTA CEO's contract extended, given pay boost

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) board has signed a new contract with president/CEO Curtis Stitt more than six months before his existing agreement was set to expire, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

Stitt and trustees said yesterday that it was important to finish the contract now as COTA moves forward on its transit-system review, its next-generation public-transportation plan and a renewal campaign for one of its two tax levies, according to the report.
