MADISON, Wis. — Due to budgetary concerns and to make the program sustainable, the University of Wisconsin, Madison (UW) employee bus pass will no longer be free starting next academic year, Channel 3000 reported. The pass will cost $24 annually.

UW’s Transportation Services does not receive state funding. However, it will continue to subsidize the program, which costs about $1.8 million each year. For the full story, click here.
