Earlier this year, Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus modified its original agreement with Clean Energy to transition the supply of LNG for its fleet to Clean Energy’s Redeem™ renewable LNG, which is non-fracked methane harvested from organic waste in landfills.
Will commercially distribute Redeem, a renewable natural gas vehicle fuel made from waste streams such as landfills, large dairies and sewage plants directly to fleets around the country and at the 35 public Clean Energy stations throughout California.
Natural gas from a local landfill is fueling 143 buses that had been powered by fossil natural gas.
