Kooistra will replace Brian Lamb, who is not being re-appointed. Lamb has served as GM since 2004.
This is the first major renovation for the 25-year-old transit center, which was upgraded in 2004 when the METRO Blue Line opened.
Additionally, the Metropolitan Council of Minneapolis has exercised options for six heavy-duty, 60-foot Xcelsior® clean diesel transit buses (or 12 equivalent units).
