The new RapidRide G Line adds miles of red bus lanes, along with extensive upgrades and improvements to Madison St.
The move adds Hopthru’s ridership data and analytics solutions to Swiftly’s platform, giving agencies powerful ways to access, clean, monitor, and analyze ridership data for NTD reporting, service planning, scheduling, and more.
Across the system, service hours will increase to 97% of pre-pandemic levels, with ridership at approximately 80% to 85% compared to 2019.
The service additions will restore 80% of pre-COVID service on weekdays (up from 77%) and 84% on weekends (up from 63%).
The agency saw 19,873,436 boardings on weekdays, reaching 78.8% of its pre-pandemic July 2019 level. On weekends in July there were 5,592,948 boardings, reaching 95.3% of pre-pandemic weekend ridership from July 2019.
During the last fiscal year (July 2023 – June 2024), the transit agency logged 75,663,343 passenger trips, a 10.4% increase over Fiscal Year 2023 (68,511,363).
Fixed Route continues to be DART’s most highly utilized bus service, with 95% of all rides in FY 2024 on one of DART’s more than 25 local and express bus routes.
