Keolis reports a 60% increase in ridership, deploying additional trains and coaches to accommodate more than 215,000 passengers.
Transit service to events included multiple layers of strategic activity to ensure success, including five days of enhanced light rail service to support rider demand and special bus service to and from outlying park-and-rides to provide added transit options.
Trolley ridership increased nearly 34% over the previous year from 29,699,366 in FY 2013 to 39,694,197 trips in FY 2014, while the bus system logged 55,316,353 trips in FY 2014, a 1% decrease over FY 2013 primarily due to construction delays on major routes.
C-Van carried an estimated 229,970 passenger trips, its highest ever. Service officials are requesting an increase in the paratransit budget from C-Tran, the transit system that operates the service.

Had an estimated 28 million boardings last year. Average weekday boardings topped 93,000 for the year. The combined annual numbers were up almost 12% over 2011 and boardings on all Sound Transit services topped agency projections for the year.
In terms of average weekday boardings, Metro Rail ridership showed a 19% gain compared to one year ago, totaling 360,901 average weekday boardings on the entire 87.7-mile system.
