Halsey King, president of Halsey King & Associates, and Tom Kujawa, general manager of the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS), have been named to METRO’s Editorial Advisory Board.
King provides consulting services and training to more than 700 fleets worldwide and is a frequent speaker on maintenance topics at industry events.
King has been active in several transportation organizations, including the Transportation Research Board, the Center for Automotive Safety, the American Trucking Association and the Maintenance Council of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
Kujawa has spent the past 18 years as general manager of MCTS and has been active in the transit industry through participation in APTA and the Wisconsin Urban and Rural Transit Association.
Kujawa is known for building alliances with other transportation interests through joint lobbying activities and his involvement in organizations such as the Transportation Development Association and the Wisconsin Association of Counties.
Kujawa is also involved with many local and civic organizations, including the Wisconsin Humane Society, Easter Seals Society and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
