PORTLAND, Ore. — The Clackamas County board met recently to discuss the draft language of a ballot, which, if passed, would transfer two land parcels to TriMet and approve an agreement that allows TriMet to maintain and operate a light rail line, as well as fund improvements, reports The Oregonian.
The ballot would be the first chance for residents to vote on Portland-Milwaukie light rail after the passage of Measure 3-401 in September, which requires countywide approval for officials to spend money on rail lines. To read the full story, click here.
