Keolis America Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Keolis, announced the acquisition of Tectrans Inc., a public transit operator headquartered in Los Angeles.

Tectrans Inc., which will be renamed Keolis Transit America Inc., provides fixed-route and paratransit transportation, as well as airport, college and corporate shuttles, taxi operations and other transit-related services, such as call center management.

The company, providing transportation solutions since the 1940s, operates more than 100 contracts in the U.S., 1,525 vehicles and employs 1,400 staff.

Following this acquisition, Keolis will generate annual revenue of nearly $200 million in North America, according to the company.
