[IMAGE]Maryland-MTA-bus-2.jpg[/IMAGE] BALTIMORE — Lateness of service was the overwhelming complaint of Maryland Transit Administration bus and rail riders polled in a nine-month survey, reported The Baltimore Sun. The survey, conducted by the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance survey of about 6,700 MTA riders, found that lateness topped all other concerns such as rude drivers, missed stops and dirty vehicles.
The alliance issued a series of recommendations to the transit agency, including improved communication with riders who lodge complaints and a streamlined process for fixing troubled bus routes. To read the full story, click here.
