ATLANTA — The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) was awarded an FTA grant to upgrade its paratransit facility and fleet, the Associated Press reports.The agency will receive $18.3 million to replace its paratransit facility, which hasn't had a significant renovation since it was built in 1974, and $1.4 million to develop an asset management system to track the condition of the agency's fleet and facilities.
