Illinois State University in Normal is seeking a director for the Office of Parking and Transportation to be responsible for planning, operating and financial management.

The director develops and evaluates policies and procedures, operational methods and short- and long-term strategies, and collaborates with university administrators and others to ensure that policies and procedures are compatible with the university mission and master plans.

The university serves a campus community of 4,000 faculty, staff and visitors, as well as approximately 20,000 students. More than 17,000 vehicles are registered to park in 120 surface parking lots and three parking structures.

The university contracts with the Bloomington-Normal Public Transportation System for universal access services on scheduled area routes and for a contracted shuttle service for the general campus area.
