Vapor Bus International, a unit of Wabtec Corp., and Hoerbiger-Origa Corp. entered into a working agreement to produce advanced door systems for the global mass transit bus markets.

Under the agreement, Hoerbiger-Origa, a provider of high-grade components that accomplish complex pneumatic, electric and hydraulic functions, will supply key components and transfer certain intellectual property to Vapor that is necessary to develop and manufacture new advanced door systems on an ongoing basis.

Vapor will assume complete responsibility for the aftermarket sales and support of all Hoerbiger-Origa’s existing North American installed base of mass transit passenger door system applications.
