ABA awards Mineta with inaugural diversity award

The American Bus Association (ABA) awarded Norman Y. Mineta, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, with its first ever Kaleidoscope Award for his impact on the advancement and promotion of diversity within and among the motorcoach, tourism and hospitality industry. The award, presented by the ABA’s Diversity Committee, was bestowed earlier this month during the group’s American Bus Marketplace in Grapevine,Texas. The purpose of the award, designed and developed by ABA’s Diversity Committee, is to honor those individuals or companies who have had a significant impact on diversity issues within the industry.
