The Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency board of directors voted to award Napa County Transit Services to MV Transportation Inc.
Under the terms of the six-year contract, with an additional four year extension, MV will assume responsibility of the county’s fixed route, Dial-A-Ride and a new commuter bus service on July 1.
The county will pay MV approximately $4 million annually to operate the 53 vehicle transit service.
