The City of Yorba Linda, Calif., has selected Western Transit Systems (WTS) to provide transportation services for its senior mobility program.

Yorba Linda’s Senior Mobility Program transportation services contract provides trips for senior citizens to and from the Yorba Linda Community Center, transporting 150 people each month, utilizing two vehicles. Under the new contract, WTS will provide vehicle operators, maintenance services and overall management of the service.

WTS, a Tectrans Company, is based in Anaheim, California and operates numerous paratransit, shuttle and dial-a-ride services in Southern California. Tectrans is a California-based passenger transportation and technology firm headquartered in Los Angeles.

The contract will begin August 1, 2008.
