The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is using March Networks’ mobile video surveillance solutions for security and risk management on its paratransit and fixed-route buses.

RTC is the transit authority, the transportation-planning agency and the regional traffic management agency for Southern Nevada. Its 520-vehicle fleet serves the greater Las Vegas Valley, including the Vegas Strip, and carries more than 60 million riders annually.

To date, the commission has deployed more than 190 of its buses and paratransit vehicles with the company's ruggedized mobile recorders, including an advanced system management platform that provides ongoing health status monitoring and manages automatic wireless download of event-based video as vehicles return to two of the RTC's service depots.
