Colorado city to fill paratransit gap

FRUITA, Colo. — A gap in transit service for senior citizens prompted Mesa County and Family Health West to launch a pilot program in July that will ferry residents to and from the grocery store and medical appointments once a week, according to the Daily Sentinel. The service is designed to reach residents who don't qualify for Grand Valley Transit's paratransit service but aren't able to utilize its fixed-route service. For the full story, click here.
