PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach Post reported that on Tuesday, Palm Beach County commissioners will review a settlement deal that would allow Metro Mobility Management Group to get out of its five-year, $90 million contract to operate the paratransit service.

The county hired a national transportation consulting firm two months ago to study Palm Tran Connection’s model and determine whether it would be better for the county to bring the service in-house.

Metro Mobility has received several complaints from riders since its contract started in August 2012. As part of its request to get out of the contract, the company is willing to continue the service until Jan. 31, 2015. For the full story, click here.
