Residents of Great Falls, Mont., can ride the local transit buses to their polling place for free today. The shuttle will run about every half hour until 5 p.m., the Great Falls Tribune reports.

In 2007, Cascade County consolidated mutliple polling locations at ExpoPark and since then has been subsidizing the election day shuttle.

In Grand Junction, Colo., residents can get a free ride on Grand Valley Transit if they show their voting card. Mesa County has reduced the number of polling places from 25 to 21 since the last election, NBC 11 News reports.
