SUPERIOR, Wis. — Mayor Dave Ross plans to ask city council to approve a proposal to become the first city in the state to provide free public transportation to disabled American veterans, the Superior Telegram reports. Superior, site of the Twin Ports Outpatient Veterans Clinic, is a critical hub for area veterans, and those traveling from nearby Duluth in Minnesota can ride for free up to the state line.
