Okla. agency bus tracking system aids passengers, dispatchers

NORMAN, Okla. — Cleveland Area Rapid Transit has launched a real-time bus tracking service for riders waiting for buses, NewsOK reports. Federal grants covered 80 percent of the $110,000 installation cost. Bus arrival information is available via Web, smartphone or text message and the system also allows dispatchers to detect and avert bunching of buses. To read the full story, click here.
