PITTSBURGH — Last week, Gov. Ed Rendell proposed $45 million in funding to help sustain the Port Authority of Allegheny County, according to the Port Authority TransitBlog. The temporary funds would come from unused economic development funds and not from other transportation projects. The plan would have to be approved by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, which will vote on the proposal later this month. For the full story, click here.
