Chicago bus tech abused position for daughter’s car repairs

Posted on September 24, 2013

CHICAGO — A state government agency ruled that a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus technician used his position to get a discounted price on his daughter’s car repairs, which were done by a company that works for the transit agency, the Chicago Tribune reported. An executive inspector general decision found that Anthony R. Dudek, a 25-year CTA veteran who was promoted after the incident to a bus maintenance manager position, engaged in five counts of misconduct in violation of the agency's ethics rules. For the full story, click here.
