MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — To help professional drivers manage Metro Transit’s extensive hiring process, the agency created free classes to help applicants make the cut, reported MinnPost.

The classes, initially focused on answering application questions, but have since been expanded to cover screening test items, such as questions about map reading, customer service and driving skills, after officials noticed many candidates were failing this portion of the test, the report said.

Since they began last year, the sessions have grown from being offered four times a year to every other month. Additionally, Metro Transit recently launched a marketing campaign to recruit potential drivers, according to MinnPost. For the full story, click here.
