Optima receives KPTA achievement award

Optima Bus Corp. was honored with the Kansas Public Transit Association’s (KPTA) 2006 Achievement Award during KPTA’s annual public transit conference held last week in Wichita, Kan. The award recognizes Optima for its outstanding achievement in Kansas, as well as throughout the nation. “Everyone at Optima Bus Corporation is extremely proud to have received this award from KPTA,” said Michael Monteferrante, Optima's CEO. "We have experienced a record- setting year, which includes building Opus buses for Chicago Transit Authority and Miami Dade Transit as well as Kansas-based transit authorities.”
