NBC’s family of Los Angeles stations have partnered with Transit TV to provide local news, weather, sports and entertainment programming to Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) bus riders. Fully installed on all 2,200 LACMTA buses since August 2006, Transit TV’s screens provide riders with 48 minutes of programming every hour. The partnership will see five minutes of the hourly content wheel provided by NBC’s family of Los Angeles stations, including both English and Spanish language content, beginning this month.
