HNTB Corporation has been awarded a three-year contract for construction engineering and inspection services for the Florida Department of Transportation District 6 Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), east of the Miami International Airport (MIA).
HNTB will oversee construction on several projects, including the MIC rental car facility and exit ramp, terminal access roadway, central station and the MIC/MIA connector station. The improvements will allow travelers to transfer from MIA to local and regional commuter rail, bus transit and taxis.
